Ramsey is a borough in Bergen County, New Jersey, located about 26 miles northwest of Midtown Manhattan. A well-established suburb of New York City, it pairs a walkable, traditional downtown with convenient commuter rail service and a highly regarded school system. The borough's history reaches back to the early 19th century, a period represented today by the Old Stone House, a historic landmark that serves as a library and museum.
