Midland Park is a small borough in Bergen County, New Jersey, in the northern suburbs of the New York metropolitan area. The 2020 census counted 7,014 residents. The borough is bordered by Ridgewood to the east and south, Waldwick to the north, and Wyckoff to the west, and its compact size places every neighborhood within minutes of those larger towns. The community is organized around Prospect Street, a north-south road running through its center that divides the borough into north and south sections. The north side, bordering Waldwick, holds Midland Park High School, while the south side adjoins Ridgewood and its extensive downtown.
