Alexandria Township is a rural municipality in western Hunterdon County, New Jersey, running along the Delaware River across from Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The 2020 census counted 4,809 residents. Its terrain of rolling hills, farm fields, and wooded ridges is typical of Hunterdon County's agricultural heartland, and the township's low density reflects decades of farmland preservation and rural zoning.
