Blairstown is a township in Warren County, New Jersey, located in the northwestern corner of the state within the region known as the Skylands. This part of New Jersey is characterized by rolling hills, farms, forests, and a network of rivers and lakes, and Blairstown exemplifies that rural character. The township's population was recorded at 5,704 in the 2020 census, and it remains one of the more sparsely settled municipalities in a county known for its open landscape. The township is perhaps best known as the home of Blair Academy, a coeducational boarding and day school founded in 1848. The Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area lies within an easy drive, adding thousands of acres of protected land along the Delaware River.
